Position Summary

This position supports the Senior Manager of Finance in all financial areas regarding forecasting/budgeting, analytics, and reporting for the US Dotcom Finance team. The SFA has prior experience in establishing effective working relationships with business partners and presenting findings and recommendations to key stakeholders both in Finance and the Dotcom Operations organization. The SFA is well-versed in successfully working as part of a cohesive larger team with the ability to flex as needed based on competing deadlines and changing priorities. The SFA has a strong passion for quantitative analysis, and utilizing a high level of expertise in Excel and Systems, supports the US Dotcom team in supporting establishing new and innovative ways to improve business processes, tools, and reporting.

Position Responsibilities

  • Support all key financial processes in the area of Dotcom Finance (Sales, Client Experience, Client Services, Fraud etc.) including partnering with key stakeholders to produce the annual budget, strategic plan, biannual forecasts and monthly reporting/analytical support
  • Partner with Finance (including Accounting and other BP&A members) and Departmental business partners to effective manage all finance activities including forecasting, and improvement of business process and tools.
  • Prepare weekly sales forecast in partnership with demand planning team.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reporting, looking in depth to all material variances.
  • Support the Monthly close process including preparation of variance reports and analysis with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to drive data decision making for the leadership team.
  • Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of the strategies, business issues, risks and profitability opportunities.

Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of related business experience, ideally with proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, and monthly close activities (basic accounting knowledge required)
  • Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational and task management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Thrives on an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer service-oriented
  • Proven ability to interpret and synthesize data into intelligent business decisions
  • Advanced expertise with Excel applications (interactive excel, macros) and Financial Systems, SAP, BPC, Anaplan a plus.
  • Experience/knowledge of key areas of a Retail/Dotcom P&L preferred.
  • Minimum of Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
